When everything seems to be falling apart

Have you ever felt like everything is falling apart and you just can’t get yourself to a positive place?

You might want to ask yourself if there is another way you can look at the situation.

For me, it has been one of those kinds of days.  I’m sick with the flu, I’ve got other annoying issues going on that seem to be beyond my control and therefore, I’ve actually spent 2 days in tears.

And then I asked myself if there is another way that I can look at the situation.

And considering I write about it all the time, you’d think I’d have the answer.

And I think I do.

What if all of this stuff that’s going on is just a shift that has to take place in order to move me into something better?

That did the trick!

They key lies in what you believe and how you feel.  It doesn’t matter how you get there, you create your reality and if you can consider a reality that feels better, then why not do it?

  1. Wow Sundi!! I signed on and went right to this post because lately everything seems to be a downer! Even the time of year, so cold and dreary in the midwest! I seem to be behind in my business and trying to catch up. But, this post!! SO simple, yet makes so much sense! What if this is just a “shift” as you say. Then, instantly, it doesn’t seem so bad and gives me renewed hope! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

  2. And it’s so true, Diana. As long as you keep focused on your goal, everything else that happens is just a shift that has to happen to get you there. When these things happen, be sure to ask yourself, “What is this situation trying to tell me?” There might be more you need to do and when you ask for an answer, you’ll surely get it.
